Ashari is passionate about coaching applicants because she enjoys helping them gain the upper hand in the law school process, something she felt she did not have as  a first-generation student. Now, she’s dedicated to providing counseling to students to make the process less overwhelming and more manageable.

As a coach, Ashari’s greatest strength is her own unconventional background. She wasn't the typical law school applicant and brings this unique perspective to her coaching, understanding that each student’s journey is different and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes listening first and advising second. She believes that by truly understanding each student's interests, ambitions, and goals, she can help them build strong, personalized applications that resonate with their narrative.

In her free time, Ashari enjoys cooking and experimenting with new cuisines. 

Marcelius is a first-generation college graduate with a BS in political science, philosophy, and economics with an African studies certificate from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA in philosophy from the University of Missouri, and a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law. 

With a focus on diversity issues, Marcelius most recently served as the leader of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Bexley City School District in Bexley, Ohio. He previously served as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Capital University Law School, overseeing the Department of Diversity and Inclusion. He also worked as the Student Service Coordinator for Student Diversity, Outreach, and Women's Programs at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Additionally, he has experience as an adjunct professor at Capital University and Austin Peay State University.

With extensive admissions experience, Marcelius has a deep understanding of what it takes to craft a compelling and standout application. His diverse background in education, advocacy, and student affairs has uniquely equipped him to excel in guiding law school applicants through every step of the process. He excels at working with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate the complexities of the application process and find the law school that best aligns with their goals and interests. His personalized approach ensures that each applicant presents their strongest possible case for admission.

Marcelius loves reading, writing, sports, and traveling in his free time. He also really enjoys trivia, so feel free to tell him a random fact.

As an immigration attorney, Demi supports individuals, families, and businesses as they navigate the US immigration process. She also has experience in humanitarian work, student support, and environmental resource management. 

Demi's passion for coaching is fueled by her personal journey, shaped by mentors who believed in her boundless potential and guided her toward success. Drawing from her tenure as a Senior Academic Advisor at Emory School of Law, she emphasizes the importance of diversity in shaping a vibrant student body, understanding that each candidate brings a unique blend of experiences and strengths to the table. As a first-generation lawyer, she also empathizes with the challenges of the application process and offers invaluable guidance to help students navigate it successfully. 

As a coach, Demi adeptly guides applicants to reflect on their experiences in a manner that brings out the best version of themselves without intruding on their personal journey. She skillfully assists them in articulating these insights effectively in their application materials. Leveraging her dual expertise as a coach and lawyer, Demi also equips applicants with the skills necessary to navigate the process of applying for internships and job opportunities during law school and throughout their professional careers. In her free time, Demi enjoys trying any sushi that comes around the conveyor belt and traveling. Her first flight was to an international destination in Argentina. She is also a boba tea enthusiast with a personal goal of trying this delicious beverage in every city she visits.
