Amre has a BA from the University of Michigan (where he was a Fulbright Scholar in Turkey) and a JD from Harvard Law School. He is currently a practicing lawyer, researcher, and writer interested in international human rights law, law and technology, and online privacy and censorship issues. Previously, he was Head of Policy at Clubhouse and worked in content policy for violent extremism and graphic violence at YouTube. 

Amre discovered his passion for academic coaching through his experience teaching and tutoring students. Through working with aspiring lawyers, he came to appreciate how fun and rewarding it was to play a part in helping students to achieve their dreams. He enjoys seeing students, often for the first time, actually voice what drives them, excites them, and even scares them. Amre believes the best part of his job as a mentor is to not only help students express themselves, but translate those feelings into stellar application materials. 

Amre excels most at getting students to understand the narrative that they want to tell as part of their applications. His greatest strengths are helping students tell their stories, write compelling essays, being a constant source of encouragement, and breaking down the application process into concrete steps with deliverables to ensure accountability.

He is also a highly experienced lawyer, and is more than happy to answer questions about his journey to help students understand their future career options. He is excited to show you the ropes and get you started on your journey to law school!

In his spare time, Amre loves traveling and working on his own creative writing.

Troy has a Bachelor’s degree in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale University and a JD from Harvard Law School. He has nine years of experience coaching students through the LSAT and the JD admissions process. 

After graduating from Yale, Troy taught math and science in the Mississippi Delta with Teach For America (TFA). After TFA, Troy pursued his passion for supporting socioeconomic equality through summer positions at the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau while attending Harvard Law. At the same time, Troy kept up his interest in education by consulting for standardized test designers. 

Throughout his career, Troy has helped students gain admission to prestigious law schools such as Harvard, NYU, and Columbia. He has a wealth of experience coaching and tutoring students, developing curricula, and training dozens of LSAT tutors.

Troy is passionate about cultivating individuals and helping them reach their full potential. Troy has worked with hundreds of students from diverse backgrounds on academic coursework and test prep, including SSAT, SAT, GRE, and LSAT.

As a coach, Troy excels at guiding students through the law school admissions process. He assists students in navigating the complexities of the process, ensuring they present their best selves to top-tier law schools. Troy is excited to help Juris students reach their full potential!

When Troy isn't coaching, he enjoys exploring his vast knowledge of coffee, cocktails, and Japanese denim. He also has a background in streaming on Twitch, where he was a speedrunner for the cult indie game Crypt of the Necrodancer. In addition, Troy is the proud owner of a tortoiseshell cat named Demerara.

Gaelle attended Georgetown University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, and Harvard University, where she received a Master's in Education.

Prior to attending Penn Law, she worked as an Admissions Officer at Georgetown University. She traveled with other admissions officers to some of the country’s leading universities, where she hosted informational programs for students to prepare them to create meaningful, stellar applications.

Gaelle has read and evaluated more than 2,500 applications, positioning herself as an expert in what top law schools expect. Having been through the law school application process herself, Gaelle’s experience and insight help law school applicants understand the application process at every step, from school selection to interview prep and beyond.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing piano, exploring Philadelphia, and mentoring first-generation college students.
