Mohini is currently pursuing her JD at Columbia Law School. Graduating with the highest distinction, she successfully navigated a double major in Biomedical Engineering and Quantitative Biology at UNC Chapel Hill. Her commitment to excellence extended into clinical research, where she not only engaged in multiple labs but also earned a prestigious research scholarship for her scholarly pursuits. 

Beyond her academic achievements, Mohini possesses a flair for teaching. While she has experience in tutoring advanced math and biology courses, she transitioned to LSAT tutoring after scoring in the 99th percentile on the LSAT. Mohini excels at demystifying this exam by breaking it down into manageable steps.

As an LSAT tutor, Mohini is committed to enhancing the LSAT’s accessibility and understanding for students. Her approach involves simplifying intricate concepts, ensuring that students not only grasp the material but also build confidence in their LSAT preparation journey.

When she’s not tutoring, Mohini enjoys baking and drawing!

Corey has a Bachelor of Science in Television-Radio-Film, English, and Textual Studies and a JD from Columbia Law School. 

Corey understands that the law school application can be a daunting process for students and is passionate about making the law school application process easy and manageable. As a coach, she excels at helping Juris students determine their strengths and break down the application process into manageable steps. Corey loves helping applicants realize their full potential. As a coach, she helps applicants throughout the law school application process by providing advice on building school lists, reviewing applications, and working with them on admissions essays. 

When Corey isn’t coaching, she loves to bake, read, and chase after her toddler. 

Prior to attending Columbia Law School, Amir completed his Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs from George Mason University. While at Columbia, he served as a Student Admissions Ambassador. Professionally, Amir has worked in politics and communications consulting for several years. Most recently, he worked at a policy and communications consulting firm, where he wrote op-eds, strategic memos, press statements, and other written products for corporate and non-profit clients. 

As a first-generation student, Amir benefited from a network of coaches who supported him through the law school admissions process and believes that it is important to pay that benefit forward to students. He understands that navigating the admissions process can be challenging, especially for first-generation professionals. He is genuinely passionate about helping Juris students determine their strengths and meaningfully communicate who they are to admissions teams.

Amir’s greatest strength as a coach is helping candidates determine their strengths and communicate who they are to admissions teams. Additionally, he excels at personal statement and resume editing, interview preparation, and helping students with school selection. Amir recently helped students gain admission to several top universities, such as Duke University, New York University, Columbia University, and Harvard University. 

When Amir isn’t coaching, he enjoys long-distance running, playing the alto sax, modern/hip-hop dance, and exploring jazz clubs in New York City.
